Miller makes a controversial statement in her essay that "the fact that a social group has arrived at certain beliefs about the world does not make those beliefs about the social or physical world necessarily true". Though a post-positivist myself, this notion of an "objective reality" is problematic. How do post-positivists argue and define what the objective reality is?
